Fox Hollow Tales

In our busy modern lives, people often forget to look for and remember the smaller moments in life that provide the best memories: catching a big fish, finding a beautiful feather on a walk, or experiencing a butterfly landing on their outstretched hand. Rekindling those memories and emotions, and telling great stories, is what Fox Hollow Tales is all about.

The world of Fox Hollow is based on strong family and community ties and dares to go beyond the “picture book” with solid world building behind each character. Collectors, parents, children, and the young at heart looking for something more timeless than the trendy franchise characters will be drawn to the imaginary world of Fox Hollow and it’s inhabitants.

Settled between two lush green valleys is the village of Fox Hollow. But this ideal American Village is not your typical town. Each resident of Fox Hollow brings forth the charm and innocence of small town living, reflects their passion to pursuit their dreams, and adds a touch of wonder to every day life.

The fox is holding its hat with both paws, and a small green frog is sitting on a log next to it. The sky is blue and there is a bucket of berries on the ground. The text above reads "Fox Hollow Tales: Wojer & The Wizard of the Wood," and below it states "Story and Illustrations by Jennifer Carson."

Wojer & the Wizard of the Wood

The neighborhood bully, Lily Fox, tries to scare Wojer with a story about a wizard who turns anyone who picks berries at the Old Lark Meadow into frogs. Wojer humorously turns the tables on Lily and her friends, proving that just because you are little, doesn’t mean you can’t outsmart the neighborhood bully!

The larger otter is wearing a blue shirt and green pants, while the smaller otter is dressed in a green jacket and red pants with a yellow scarf. In the background, there are hay bales, a carved pumpkin, and colorful pennant banners, suggesting a fall or Halloween celebration.

Pearl & the Harvest Scare

Every year the villagers of Fox Hollow gather to celebrate the abundance of the harvest. The Harvest Feast is Pearl Otter’s favorite community gathering, but when she overhears Wojer Badger and Robbie Bobcat’s plans to carve the scariest Jack-o-lantern Fox Hollow has ever seen, she worries that her little sister will be too frightened to attend. Pearl must find a way to make the evening fun for everyone, but will she come up with a plan in time?

The power of family ties, friendship, and community cooperation shine from the pages in this story that celebrates abundance, not only during harvest season, but also in our daily lives.
